Frequently
asked Questions
- How
much yoga do you need to have done before you can come?
The holiday
is suitable for all levels - beginners to more advanced. We work in
a way that supports those who are learning and stretches those who
are more advanced.

- How
many people come on the holiday?
Usually there are between 12 - 15 people.
- What
about vegetarians?
The food
in the tavernas is fantastic for veggies. All kinds of local dishes,
prepared and cooked freshly, including stuffed courgette flowers,
bean dishes, aubergines, avocado salad and many more. For omnivores
there is plenty of fresh fish, too.
- Is
it suitable for singles or couples?
Both. Many single people come, especially women. We make sure that
your transport to and from the airport is organised in advance. Each
evening, you have the option of eating in town with others in a group.
Couples are welcome too and seem to have just as good a time!
- Is
the holiday just for people from the UK?
No - so far we have had people from the UK, Greece, Canada and Belgium
for example.
- How
much is the holiday in US dollars or other currencies?
Please visit www.xe.com
for easy currency conversions.
- Do
you offer any massage or other therapies?
There are several masseurs living locally who we can put you in contact
with - and don't forget to visit the healing
springs of Eftalou!
- How
much is a visit to the hot springs?
The public spa bath is €3.50 per 45 minute visit (2004 prices).
- Is
it possible to visit Turkey from that area?
Yes, you can visit Turkey by travelling down to Mytilini and getting
a boat!
- Is
it a holiday or hard work?
Definitely
a holiday. It's up to you how much yoga you do each day. Most people
come to the two classes each morning (occasionally missing the early
morning one!) and then enjoy the benefits of the pool or wandering
around the town in the afternoon. For the keener ones there is also
an afternoon workshop on one day during the week.
